Cape Fear Defeats USC Salkehatchie

Allendale, SC - Three different Cape Fear players found the back of the net as the Lady Sea Devils shutout USC-Salkehatchie 3-0 to cap off Saturday's doubleheader in Allendale, S.C.

"I am very proud of how we are playing soccer right now," said CFCC Coach Melissa Anderson. "We are excelling at every position and it's really fun to watch."

Nikki Tiller opened the scoring on an assist from Angie Zanelli, while Madison Rogers put CFCC up two-nil with an unassisted goal. Megan Fouty found Karlie Yeomans to put the match away for the Sea Devils, who improved to 2-0-1 in conference and 4-0-1 overall.

Cape Fear ran its unbeaten streak to five straight games with the result heading into a matchup at USC-Lancaster on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
