Sea Devils Dominate USC Lancaster

Lancaster, SC - For the second straight game the Cape Fear Community College women's soccer team posted double digits as the Lady Sea Devils cruised to a 14-0 win at USC-Lancaster to remain unbeaten in league play this season.

Three different players found the back of the net three times apiece, while Karlie Yeoman tallied twice and picked up two assists in the win. Larrissa Bonilla, Courtney Cox and Nikki Tiller padded their individual stats with hat tricks to pace the Cape Fear attack.

"It's always nice to get multiple players involved in the scoring process," said CFCC Coach Melissa Anderson. "A conference win is important, but we need to keep our focus and keep working to get where we want to be heading into the tournament."

Katie Sterling, Armani Boswell and Leeza Jones rounded out the scoring for the Sea Devils on Friday.

Cape Fear moved to 4-0-1 in Region X play and 7-1-1 overall. The Sea Devils get back on the pitch at home against Patrick Henry CC at Saturday, Oct. 4.
