Faircloth Signs with Lady Sea Devils

Wilmington, NC - The Lady Sea Devils are proud to announce their third signee of the 2012 recruiting class. Zanna Faircloth has signed a NLOI with the Cape Fear Community College Volleyball Team, and is set to be on campus this August.

Faircloth, a 5'9 outside hitter, played high school volleyball at Lakewood High School for head coach Sheila Davidson. She was named both Cape Fear Regional Player of the Year and Sampson County Player of the Year. This club season, Zanna will be playing with HAVA Juniors for head coach Cassidy Hamilton

Zanna was a force for the Leopards of Lakewood, leading them to a 23-4 season, contributing 360 kills her senior year. Coach Davidson attributes their winning season to Faircloth's outstanding passion and unmatched character.

"A talented player always steps up and plays great in challenging situations - that is what Zanna Faircloth does. She is by far the most versatile athlete I have ever coached. I can put her anywhere and I know good things will happen. She is the type of player that gives you chills as you watch her and she will be greatly missed," said Davidson.

"We are extremely excited to get Zanna in a Sea Devils jersey," said head coach Aly Pompeani. "Zanna is an amazing athlete who is going to do great things for Cape Fear Volleyball. We are fortunate to have her here and are eager for the season to begin."
