In Short: Cape Fear Volleyball defeats Louisburg in a competitive, but clean 3-0 sweep.
Highlights:
The Sea Devils competed in their first Region 10 conference matchup of the week against the Louisburg College Hurricanes. The team was excited to compete at home again after their recent conference win against the Lenoir Lancers one week prior.
Returning Sophomore Isa Yedo executed a few key digs and blocks throughout the match - including an impressive return to put more points on the board for the Sea Devils. Freshman Abby Morse earned 8 kills and 4 blocks throughout the match while returning Sophomores Kara Walker earned 6 kills and Charly Meade earned 7.
The Sea Devils finished the match with a 3-0 sweep and are looking forward to their next conference matchup this week.
Up Next: Cape Fear Volleyball will return to the Schwartz Center on Thursday, September 15th as they take on Fayetteville Tech at 6 PM.
