WILMINGTON, NC--- The Sea Devil Men's Basketball will close out their games from Maryland in Day 2 of the Baltimore City Classic with a Sunday afternoon match-up versus Harcum College.road Cape Fear will put their four game winning streak on the line versus the Bears after defeating tournament host, Baltimore City Community College, (92-88) in Day 1 of the Baltimore City Classic on Saturday afternoon. 

Jacque Brown lead the way for the Sea Devils as the team's leading scorer with 19 points highlighted by five made threes, while also adding 9 assists and 3 rebounds. Trae Bryant added 17 points while adding 8 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals; Jerick Haynes contributed 11 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds in his 24 minutes played. Alonzo Tyson scored 13 points off the bench in his 24 minutes played, while adding 6 rebounds as well.

Cape Fear's bench outscored Baltimore City's by a +23 margin (33-10); the Sea Devils are now (7-0) on the year when they lead their opponent at halftime. The Sea Devils' offense would shoot 53.4% from the field (31-58), and 44.8% on three pointers (13-29), while holding the Panthers' offense to just 34.2% from the field (25-73), and 15.8% on three pointers (3-19).

With that win, Head Coach Ryan Mantlo picked up his 202nd career win at Cape Fear Community College at the helm of the Sea Devil Men's Basketball program. 

The Sea Devils enter Sunday's match-up with a (8-2) overall record.

Cape Fear Men's Basketball program is led by Ryan Mantlo who is coaching in his 10th season at the helm with the program, and is assisted by Assistant Coach Mark Lane, and first year Volunteer Assistant Coach Marcus Faison.

As for the Bears, they are coming off a (93-89) overtime home win over Monroe College on Thursday evening. 

Harcum College enter Sunday's match-up with the Sea Devils with a (10-4) overall record and (0-1) in Region 29 Conference record. Harcum College's men's Basketball program is led by 12th year head coach Drew Kelly (Record at Harcum: (291-71), along with Assistants: Steven Hobbs (9th Year), Doug Thibault (4th Year), C.J. Scott (3rd Year), and Rob Fusaro (1st Season).

Sunday afternoon's match-up between the Sea Devils and the Bears is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (EST) from P.E. Center at Baltimore City Community College.

"We're looking forward to Sunday's match-up versus Harcum [College] in Day 2 of the Baltimore City Classic. They are a talented team year in and year out, and Coach Drew [Kelly] does a great job with the program. It would be a great feeling to come out of the tournament with a (2-0) record against quality NJCAA opponents [Baltimore City and Harcum College].

"We'll need to bring a strong performance not only on the offensive end but on the defensive end as well. Harcum [College] has six player who are averaging double-digit points per game so we'll have to give them tough looks at the basket. We'll need to limit our fouls and avoid getting in foul trouble against a quality opponent today. We'll need limit their paint touches and production in the paint, run our offensive sets correctly, and have strong contribution from our role players.

Series History

This is the fourth all-time meeting between the two schools in Sea Devil Men's Basketball program history. Cape Fear leads the all-time series at (2-1), this is the first meeting in two years.
