The Sea Devils are coming off a historic season which concluded in Melbourne, FL in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament. "We are excited to get the regular season underway," said Sea Devil Head Coach Ryan Deppa. "Last season was a legendary run for our program, but we are a new team with a lot to prove and we must create our own identity. That begins this weekend."

A year ago the Sea Devils stormed through the regular season, losing only one contest and winning the Region 10 Regular Season title. Cape Fear then won the Region 10 Tournament and advanced to the programs seventh District L Championship game. Seven proved to the be the right number as the Sea Devils defeated Harford CC 3-1 to advance to the programs first ever trip to the NJCAA National Tournament. A strong recruiting class and talented core of returners provide Sea Devil fans with a lot to look forward to.
