Highlights: After a long stint of away games on the road, the Sea Devils have closed out their final matchup of the series with a win against the Wake Tech Eagles. CFCC was able to control the match with their composed and consistent serving game coupled with cohesive offensive return strategy that forced the Eagles to fall out of their defensive system. The Sea Devils' focus and determination carried them through all 3 sets without letting their foot off the gas. Overall, the team was able to stay in control and present a unified front that ultimately led to another sweep over a conference opponent.
Naomi Pegues (Soph.) was the true team player of the match totaling 21 assists in one night. Claire Smith (Fr.) kept the defense grounded with 11 digs while Kara Walker (Fr.) was an unsurprising attacking force with 8 kills.
