In Short: The Sea Devils accomplish another 3-0 conference win over the Pitt Community College Bulldogs.
Highlights: After a long week on the road, the Sea Devils returned to the Schwartz Center and were able to achieve a 3-0 sweep once again. The focus and overall effort that the Sea Devils had in their offensive pursuits truly solidified their win and exposed various weak points in the Bulldogs. The Sea Devils also did not disappoint on the defensive side of the ball with Claire Smith (Fr.) totaling 15 digs for the evening, while the front line's blocking duos kept the Bulldogs honest throughout the match. After working on their side-out cenarios and overall offensive execution throughout their recent training sessions, The Sea Devils finished the match swiftly with composure and impressive teamwork throughout.
Up Next: CFCC volleyball will be back on the road this weekend in Hickory, NC for the Catawba Valley Invitational. Their first match of the tournament will take place on Friday, October 3 at 4PM versus Walters State CC.
