In Short: The Sea Devils celebrated Sophomore Night with a clean sweep over the Lenoir Lancers this Friday night.

Highlights: 

After honoring the squad's Sophomore Class during pre-match ceremonies, the Sea Devils took the floor and swiftly closed out their match against the Lenoir Lancers. The blocking power of the front line came out in full force as the Lancers attempted to recover from the Sea Devils' deceptive offensive attacks. Team communication was sound and cohesive throughout the three sets, which aided in their offensive craft -  a complete 180° in comparison to their previous match this past week. The Sea Devils' side-out game has improved game-after-game and was especially demonstrated in the Second and Third Sets against the Lancers. The CFCC Sophomore class put on a great showcase for fans to remember as they gear up for post-season play next week.

Grace Pulido (Soph.) finished the match with 17 digs while Freshman Isabella Yedo stepped up to the plate offensively with 9 kills. Mya Klein (Soph.) also aided in the Sea Devils' defensive pursuits and lead the team with 13 assists.

Up Next: The Sea Devils return to the Schwarts Center on Tuesday, October 26 at 6 PM for the Region 10 Quarter Finals.
