Smithfield, NC - Cape Fear men's basketball defeated Johnston Community College on the road, 103-46.
Sophomore Kwe Parker led with 16 points, while sophomores Zaqwaun Matthews and Alston Davis each scored 15. Freshman James Moore finished with 10.
Head coach Ryan Mantlo spoke highly of his team's second half play, particularly in their high tempo.
"I thought we played very well in the second half," said Mantlo. "We finally pushed the ball at the tempo that fits us."
Cape Fear moves to 7-5 on the season. They play next on Thursday, December 14th, where they will take on Chattanooga State Community College in the first game of the Brunswick CC Holiday Classic. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., and the game will be streamed online.
