Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear men's basketball won it's opening conference game of the season, defeating Denmark Technical College, 100-83.
Kwe Parker led the Sea Devils with 21 points, while Zaqwaun Matthews scored 20. Donte Tatum added 15, and Jalen Cameron finished with 10.
Head coach Ryan Mantlo was happy that his team won convincingly in the first Region 10 conference game of the season.
"It's great to get the first conference game," said coach Mantlo. "You never take these for granted. We must now focus our complete attention on building each day as we prepare for Brunswick."
The Sea Devils improve to 12-6 on the season, and 1-0 in conference play.
Cape Fear plays next on Saturday, January 20th, where they will take on conference rival Brunswick Community College at home at 2:00 p.m.
