Women's Basketball Crushes Fayetteville Tech CC

Fayetteville, NC - Cape Fear women's basketball defeated Fayetteville Tech Community College, 98-50, on Tuesday.

Sophomore forward De'najah Porter led the team with 15 points, while freshman guard Tracey Kemp added 14. Freshmen A'Terria Quick and Andreal Bass contributed 13 and 11 points, respectively.

"We needed a big road win after coming off of a tough loss against Eastern Florida State last weekend," said head coach Lori Drake. "We had the best practice of the season on Monday and it carried over into our performance against FTCC."

The Sea Devils improve to 6-1 on the season. They return to the court on Saturday, December 2nd, where they will take on Guilford Technical Community College. It will be Cape Fear's first home game of the season.
