Wilmington, NC - Cape Fear women's basketball defeated Catawba Valley Community College, 70-61, to extend their winning streak.
A'Terria Quick led the Sea Devils with 16 points, while Madison Ervin added 13.
Head coach Lori Drake was pleased with her team's effort the entire game.
"Our Lady Sea Devils put everything they had for forty minutes today. We hold our ladies [accountable] to put their foot on the gas and to keep their foot on the gas."
The Sea Devils improve to 23-5 overall and 21-1 in conference play. They remain 1st in Region 10, and 8th overall in the NJCAA Division II national rankings.
Their next game is scheduled for Wednesday, February 28th, where they will take on Denmark Community College at Williston Middle School, 401 South 10th Street, at 4:00 p.m.
