Volleyball Drops Final Games In Florida

New Port Richey, FL - The Cape Fear women's volleyball team would suffer two more losses today, losing 1-3 Pasco-Hernando State College, and then 0-3 to Indian River State College.

In the first game against Pasco-Hernando, Cape Fear would split the first two sets by scores of 19-25, and 25-20, before losing the final two 16-25, and 15-25.

Sophomore Amber Tyndall recorded seven kills, and four solo blocks.

"We read them well, but we still need to compete from point 1-25." said head coach Emily Coleman afterwards. "We can't take points off."

Against Indian River, Cape Fear would lose in three straight sets by scores of 15-25, 18-25, and 19-25.

"[It was a] tough game versus a tough team," said coach Coleman afterwards.

With today's losses, the Sea Devils move to 3-6 on the season. They will play again on September 14th, where they will take on Wake Tech Community College on the road at 6:00 p.m.
