WILMINGTON, NC--- The Sea Devil Women's Volleyball program fresh off their 3-0, (25-12, 25-12, 25-18) victory over Region 10 opponent Louisburg College on Tuesday evening, hits the road to take on Lenoir Community College with their six match win streak on the line.
The Sea Devils currently are (9-6) overall and (8-1) in Region 10 Conference competition with their lone Region 10 loss coming against Catawba Valley Community College in a (0-3) defeat on the road earlier this season.
Lenoir Community College enters the match on a two match win streak, "They are very athletic; they also serve very well, we will need to pass well," said Sea Devil Women's Volleyball head coach Emily Coleman on today's opponent.
Lenoir Community College is coming off a 3-0, (25-19, 25-23, 25-13) victory over Davidson Community College, and a 3-0, (25-6, 25-8, 25-13) win over Region 10 Conference opponent USC Salkehatchie. The Lancers enter today's game versus Cape Fear with a (5-2) record in Region 10 Conference competition.
Head Coach Emily Coleman is currently coaching in her third season with the Sea Devils, and she is assisted by first-year assistant coach Brittani Jefferson. Coleman has led her Sea Devil Women's Volleyball program to a (5-1) all-time record under her tenure versus Louisburg College. Cape Fear has won 17 out the 26 sets played in their six all-time meetings with Coleman at the helm.
With a win tomorrow over the Lancers of Lenoir Community College, head coach Emily Coleman can win her 66th career victory at Cape Fear, and 44th all-time Region 10 Conference win as well.

Following Saturday's result versus Lenoir Community College, the Sea Devils will return to the floor on Friday, October 7, for a double-header versus Northern Virginia Community College at 2:30pm (EST), and Spartanburg Methodist at 7:00pm (EST).
