WILMINGTON, NC --- The Sea Devil Women's Volleyball program will look to extend their winning streak to 11 matches in a row in their Tuesday evening home match versus Pitt Community College.
The Sea Devils are coming off a road doubleheader victory last Saturday with a 3-1, (25-23, 22-25, 25-19, 25-19) victory over Surry Community College. "Surry always plays us tough, we got a little sloppy and did not execute as well as we needed to, but we bounced back after they took a set from us," said Sea Devil Women's Volleyball head coach Emily Coleman.
Cape Fear would beat Brunswick Community College late in the afternoon in a 3-0, (25-18, 25-14, 25-16) victory over Brunswick Community College. "[It was] another good win against a solid conference team. This was a team win; we had many different players in different roles, and they all stepped up," added Emily Coleman following the victory over the Dolphins.
The Sea Devil Women's Volleyball team defeated Pitt Community College on the road earlier this season in a (3-0, (25-21, 25-20, 25-22) victory on September 29. "They pass well, so we'll need to serve aggressive and move them around on offense," said Emily Coleman in her pre-game presser when asked about Pitt Community College.
Cape Fear enters Tuesday evening's match versus Pitt Community College leading the all-time series at (22-18).

Payton Schoenleber, was a player to watch according to head coach Emily Coleman following the team's week of action and practices. Schoenleber, the Topsail, North Carolina (Topsail HS) native, has appeared in 18 matches while playing in 47 sets, while recording 68 Kills, 11 Digs, 15 Blocks, and 93.5 Total Points.
