"We are so excited to be playing in our first home match. We've been traveling so much, and it'll be so nice to be on our court in front of our great fans. Our staff does an excellent job getting everything ready," said Sea Devil Women's Volleyball head coach Emily Coleman.

Coleman, who is currently coaching in her fourth year with the program is (22-7) all-time in home matches, and     (16-5) in conference home matches.

The 2016-2017 Sea Devils are led by a trio of upperclassmen players- Amber Tyndall, Faryn Salazar, and Bailey Toman, and a dynamic duo of freshmen- Karly Mathias and Payton Schoenleber.

"They are usually very athletic and scrappy," said Coach Coleman when asked about what the Sea Devils can expect from Guilford Tech in her pre-game presser.

Saturday's match-up between the Sea Devils and the Eagles is the 17th all-time meeting between the two schools in program history; Cape Fear leads (13-3) in the all-time series between the two programs.
