Wilmington, NC (February 21, 2024) - Cape Fear Women's Basketball hosted the Brunswick Dolphins in the Schwartz Center during their Black History Month Celebration game. Festivities included a live vocal performance of Lift Every Voice and Sing, as well as a Black-Owned Business Fair courtesy of Genesis Block and the CFCC Nixon Leaders Center where fans were able to learn about thriving small businesses in our city.
The Sea Devils took the lead early and finished the first half 51-17 over the Dolphins. After winning with an insurmountable lead over Brunswick, the Sea Devils have their sights set on their next Region 10 Conference matchup against the Richard Bland Statesmen. Cape Fear finishes this afternoon's game with a 19-2 record (17-2 in conference play) as they head into this weekend's game set.
Cape Fear Women's Basketball will host Richard Bland on Friday, February 23rd at 5 PM in the Schwartz Center, followed by an away matchup on Saturday, February 24th at 2 PM vs Central Carolina in Sanford, NC.
