Sea Devils Suffer Setback at Wake Tech

Raleigh, NC - Wake Tech rallied from a two set to none deficit and pulled out a dramatic 3-2 victory over Cape Fear Community College in women's volleyball action in Raleigh on Wednesday night.

Sydney Robinson and Bailey Toman led the Sea Devils attack with eight kills apiece, while Tressa Amico finished a strong game at net with nine blocks.

Cape Fear jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Wake Tech ran off three straight sets, closing out the match with a 16-12 victory in the decisive fifth game.

The Sea Devils fell to 4-2 in conference and 6-2 overall. Cape Fear begins a four game road trip to the Sunshine State on Friday, September 11. They will play four matches over the course of two days beginning with a Friday afternoon contest against Indian River State College in New Port Richey, Florida.
