Wilmington, NC - The Cape Fear Community College volleyball team closed the regular season Thursday night with a 3-1 victory over Brunswick Community College as the Sea Devils finished second in the Region 10 standings.
Tressa Amico had a big game at net with nine kills and seven blocks, while Bailey Toman tallied a team-high 11 kills.
"Just a great night to recognize our sophomores Kayla Mathias, Sydney Robinson, and Michelle Escue," said CFCC Coach Emily Coleman. "I'm so proud of our regular season and look forward to seeing us fight next weekend in the tournament."
Following a 13-3 conference record and 19-7 mark overall, Cape Fear faces Wake Tech Community College in the opening round of the Region 10 Tournament. The Sea Devils split the regular season matches with the Eagles this season.
