Sea Devils Sweep Pitt

Greenville, NC - The Sea Devils began their final regular season road swing of the year on Tuesday and grabbed a straight set 3-0 sweep over Pitt Community College in Greenville.

Rachel Braunschweig paced the attack with 10 kills, while Chelsea Bailey contributed with an all-around effort with nine kills, five digs and four blocks.

"We played a solid game where we worked on eliminating unforced errors," said CFCC Coach Emily Coleman. "Sydney Robinson rattled off seven serves in a row to keep us on top in the second set."

Braunschweig also added seven digs to shape the defense. Robinson and Bailey Toman closed with eight kills each.

Cape Fear has won 10 of its last 11 matches to improve to 11-3 in Region 10 play and 16-7 overall. The Sea Devils get back on the floor at St. Andrew's University on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
