Fayetteville, NC - Cape Fear women's basketball defeated Fayetteville Tech Community College Wednesday night, 89-65.
Taylor Folks lead the team with 21 points, while Desaree Green and Jessica Dillard each scored 14 points a piece.
Head coach Lori Drake was pleased in the way her team responded following two straight losses in Georgia this past weekend.
"We did a great job of bouncing back from the weekend in Georgia, and executed our goals going into our first conference game of the season. We still have a lot of work to do and growth to make each day, but as long as we are improving daily then this season will be bright for us."
The Sea Devils improve to 2-2 on the season with the win, and 1-0 in conference.
Their next game is scheduled for Saturday, November 19th, where they will take on Bryant & Stratton College on the road. Tip off is set for 1:00 p.m.
