Bolivia, NC - Cape Fear women's basketball capped off the Brunswick CC Christmas Classic with another win, defeating Combine Academy 69-54.
Scoring in double figures for the Sea Devils was Destiny Campbell with 14, Taylor Foulks and TaKwana Bland each with 12, and Nikia Wallace with 10.
While Cape Fear was shorthanded with several players not available, head coach Lori Drake was happy with the players who stepped up in their place.
"We were short several players and it was exciting to see some of our Freshman step up."
The Sea Devils went 3-0 during the tournament, extending their winning streak to 9 in a row.
"Overall it was a fantastic tournament for our ladies and we look forward to continuing to the growth."
Cape Fear improves to 10-2 on the season with the win. They will play Catawba Valley on the road December 20th at 1:00 p.m., before taking time off for the holidays.
