Americus, GA--- The Sea Devil Women's Basketball program will look to get back into the winning column on Sunday afternoon versus Wallace State Community College in day 2 of the Women's Basketball Tournament after Cape Fear fell (42-58) to the host South Georgia Technical College yeserday in the day 1 of the tournament.
"Wallace State has a handful of sharp shooters that we'll need to know where they are for 40 minutes. Their bench play is deep and we will have to keep fresh legs in throughout each quarter in defending those bench points," said Sea Devil Women's Basketball head coach Lori Drake in her Sunday pre-game presser when asked about Wallace State.
Wallace State is coming off a (73-58) victory over Denmark Tech in their opening day result in Day 1 of the tournament.
Leading the way for the Lions are sophomores Kelsey Houston (11.0ppg, 37.5 3PT%), and Jasmine Hollis (9.5ppg, and 4.5rpg), along with freshman Joy Sadler (9.5ppg, 35.7 FG%, and 40.0 3PT%).
As for the Sea Devils, leading the way are sophomores Destiny Campbell, Desaree Green and Nikia Wallace, along with freshmen Christina Caesar, Ari Young, and Jaleesa Dillard.
Tip-off for today's game for the Sea Devils of Cape Fear Community College versus the Lions of Wallace State Community College is scheduled for 1:00pm (EST).
Following the result of today's game, Cape Fear will return to the floor on Wednesday, November 16, as they travel to Fayetteville, North Carolina, to take on Fayetteville Technical Community College; tip-off versus the Trojans is scheduled for 7:00pm (EST).

Cape Fear's next home game will come against Guilford Tech Community College on Saturday, December 3, at 1:00pm (EST) inside the Schwartz Center. It will be "Girl Scouts Day" for the Sea Devils.
