WILMINGTON, NC --- The Sea Devil women's basketball program will put their two-game win streak on the line Wednesday evening against Region 10 Conference opponent, Wake Tech Community College Eagles. 

"We are excited to be back from Thanksgiving break and ready to hit the hardwood again. We have had 3 great days of practice and are looking forward to continuing conference play," said Sea Devil Women's Basketball Head Coach Lori Drake in her pre-game comments prior to Wednesday's game versus the Eagles.

"We must own the boards on both ends of the floor, defend with intent to get a stop on every possession, and continue to build on team consistency," Drake added when asked what the biggest keys to victory over Wake Tech Community College were. 

Desaree Green, Destiny Campbell, and TaKwana Bland are the players to watch this week following the team's practices.

"Wake Techs plays very hard for Coach Street and have several top guards that we will have to focus on containing and stopping. Their 2 bigs are tough inside and we will have to focus on boxing them out on every shot and defend without fouling inside," Drake closed with in her final pre-game comments. 

Tip-off for Wednesday's game is scheduled for 7:00pm (EST) inside the Eagles' basketball gym.

Next Time Out

The Sea Devil Women's Basketball program will return to action on Saturday, December 3, versus Guilford Tech Community College at 1pm (EST). Cape Fear will welcome and honor Saturday's game as "Girl Scouts Day." 

Live Stats and Live Video will be able for fans to follow the game as all the action unfolds inside of the Schwartz Center during the game versus Guilford Tech CC if they are unable to make it on Saturday.
