Bolivia, NC - Cape Fear women's basketball continued their winning streak with a dominate 92-36 win over Delaware Technical Community College. Destiny Campbell finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Desaree Green scored 20 points to go with 10 rebounds.
The Sea Devils put the game away early, and lead Delaware Tech 32-6 after the first quarter. They then extended their lead even more in the second quarter, outscoring their opponent 26-8.
While Campbell and Green led the way for Cape Fear, all five starters scored in double figures, as Nikia Wallace finished with 13 points, Jaleesa Dillard scored 12, and TaKwana Bland had 10.
The Sea Devils dominated the paint, out-rebounding Delaware Tech 52-25 and scoring 56 points in the paint.
"Our focus is one game at a time and today the focus was to be better than we were yesterday, and we did just that," said head coach Lori Drake.
"I was very pleased with our performance today, now we have to refocus and be ready for game three tomorrow."
The win is Cape Fear's 8th in a row, and improves their record to 9-2 overall. They will play in the final game of the Brunswick CC Christmas Classic tomorrow at 10 a.m. against Combine Academy.
