Cape Fear Community College is pleased to announce the 2016 CFCC Port City Classic on August 27th and 28th in Wilmington, NC. The tournament matches teams from North Carolina, Maryland and Georgia. A staple to CFCC's non-conference slate, the CFCC Port City Classic brings great collegiate soccer to the Wilmington community.

"We want to continue build on the foundation that Coach Libert and Coach Anderson had in place, and work to take this opening weekend to the next level," said Sea Devil Head Coach Ryan Deppa. "All four teams supply a talented roster and will provide a platform for four year institutions to come in and recruit from. It is a great opportunity for all of our teams to work together to promote NJCAA Women's Soccer right here in Wilmington, NC."

Saturday August 27th, Oxford Emory (GA) will play Howard Community College (MD) at12:30 pm. The second game features Cape Fear Community College (NC) and Frederick Community College (MD). This contest is slated for 2:30 pm. Saturday'sgames will be played at Legion Stadium.

Sunday August 28th features Oxford Emory (GA) vs Frederick Community College (MD) at 11:00 am. The final game of the CFCC Port City Classic features Howard Community College (MD) vs Cape Fear Community College (NC) at 1:00 pm. Sunday's games will be played at Cape Fear Academy.

Tickets for the tournament can be purchased at the gate for $5.00.
