WILMINGTON, NC – Fresh off a (5-0) mark on their five game road trip, the #12 ranked Sea Devil Women's Soccer team returns to the pitch on Tuesday afternoon versus Region 10 Conference opponent, Patrick Henry Community College.

Cape Fear enters Wednesday's match after their (4-3) victory over Pfeiffer University JV in their last outing on the pitch. Freshman Sierra Raynor provided the game-winning goal in the game's 88th minute when she connected to find the back of the net after fellow freshman Alaina Capps provided the assist.

Cape Fear will once again put their (10-0) undefeated record on the line versus Patrick Henry Community College on Wednesday evening. The Sea Devils defeated the Patriots in their first outing this season by a score of (3-0) at home on September 3, 2016. The Sea Devils received goal contributions from Alyssa Coustenis (22nd minute, assisted by Sierra Raynor), Jenna Pecorini (58th minute, assisted by Sierra Raynor), and Janessa Annis (82nd minute, unassisted).

The Sea Devil Women's Soccer program enters the match-up versus the Patriots as the #12 team in the latest NJCAA Division 1 Women's Soccer Top 20 Rankings (as of the October 11, 2016 poll). The Sea Devils also are ranked #8 in the nation according to the NSCAA national poll, the highest ranking in school history.

"We worked our way through a tough week, and now have a challenging week in front of us. We must continue to push our game forward," said Sea Devil Women's Soccer head coach Ryan Deppa, prior to Wednesday's road match versus Patrick Henry Community College.

As for Cape Fear's opponent, Patrick Henry Community College, they enter the match-up coming off a (1-5) road defeat loss to Spartanburg Methodist on October 5th; the Patriots' lone goal was scored by sophomore midfielder Kayla Clark. Patrick Henry enters the game with a (6-4-1) overall, and a (2-3-1) record in Region 10 Conference.
