WILMINGTON, NC --- The Sea Devil Women's Soccer program is gearing up for their first ever appearance in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in this year's 2016 NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer National Tournament in Melbourne, Florida.

"We will play two programs who have worked very hard through the years to become traditional powerhouses in NJCAA Division 1 Women's Soccer. Butler CC and Monroe Community College have become household names on the national level for NJCAA soccer and that is what we are working towards at Cape Fear. Being able to be in the last 12 teams still playing soccer right now at the NJCAA Division I level is pretty special," Deppa added.
The Sea Devils will begin the tournament along with the 11 other teams in Pool play from Monday-Wednesday (Nov. 14-16), with the top four highest seeds advancing to the semifinals matches on Friday (Nov. 18) afternoon and evening.

The Sea Devils will then play their second game of the pool play against Monroe Community College on Tuesday, November 15, kick-off for that match is scheduled for 12:30pm (EST).
